Product description

The Kugoo KuKirin G2 Pro is the scooter you actually use on a Tuesday morning when the bus is two minutes late and the rain hasn't fully started yet. It is not the loudest model in the lineup, not the fastest, and not the heaviest — and that is the entire point. Most riders in Estonia are not racing down a closed track at 70 km/h; they are running 5–8 km from a flat in Mustamäe to a meeting in Kalamaja, then back home through Kadriorg in the evening. The G2 Pro is built for that exact arc.

Under the hood you get a single 600 W brushless hub motor on a 48 V architecture, paired with a 48 V 15 Ah lithium-ion battery. Top speed reaches 45 km/h on private land; the 25 km/h cap is digital/software-based, removable for private-property use, and not the same as a VMP hardware lock. Real-world range lands around 50–58 km in mild conditions — fewer in winter, slightly more if you ride in eco mode at gentle throttle. A full charge takes roughly 7–8 hours from empty; plug it in after dinner and it's ready before breakfast.

Where the G2 Pro pulls ahead of basic 350–500 W rental-class scooters is the chassis. Front and rear suspension plus 9-inch tubeless tyres absorb the kind of cobblestones, tram tracks, and curb edges that turn an entry-level scooter ride into a wrist-jarring experience. Two mechanical disc brakes deliver predictable stopping in 5–12 metres depending on speed and surface. The full lighting kit — LED headlight, side markers, brake/tail light, and integrated turn signals — means you are visible to drivers from both directions, not just in front. IP54 splash resistance handles light rain commutes without forcing you to babysit the electronics. Total weight is 28 kg, max load 120 kg, and yes — the included seat is fully removable when you don't need it.

If you are deciding inside the Kugoo KuKirin range, the G2 Pro sits one tier above the entry-level A1 and S1 Max, beneath the long-range G2 Max and the dual-motor G2 Master and Ultra, and well below the 60 V G4 family. For a commuter who wants a real seat, real suspension, and real disc brakes without crossing the four-figure barrier, this is the comfortable middle of the lineup. Read the full specs below.

Frequently asked questions

Who is this model best for?

This model is best for short to medium city commuting when you want the seat option and the simpler G2-family format.

Is this model road-legal in Estonia?

No, not in the same way as a VMP model. This model has a digital 25 km/h limiter, but it can be removed for private-property use. Because the limiter is not physically/factory-wired, it is not sufficient proof for police or insurance purposes and should not be treated as a public-road VMP model.

What is the difference between the VMP and non-VMP G2 Pro?

The scooter platform is otherwise the same. The key difference is the speed limiter: the VMP version has a physically/factory-wired 25 km/h limiter intended for documented compliance; the standard version has a digital limiter that can be removed for private-property use.

What is the realistic range?

Realistic range is usually around 50-58 km in mild weather. Cold weather, higher ride modes, hills, and rider weight can reduce it.

Is the Kugoo G2 Pro the same as the KuKirin G2 Pro?

Yes. The brand renamed from Kugoo to KuKirin in EU markets due to a trademark issue around 2022–2023. Same factory, same product, same specifications — only the name on the deck changed. Anything sold here as KuKirin G2 Pro is what older reviews and YouTube videos refer to as the Kugoo G2 Pro.

Can I ride the Kugoo KuKirin G2 Pro through an Estonian winter?

Technically yes for the dry, salted asphalt days; in practice we don't recommend daily use below 0 °C. Lithium battery range drops 30–40% in cold, and the 9″ pneumatic tyres are not designed for ice. Treat the G2 Pro as an April–October scooter and store it indoors during winter.
